-는지 is used for combining a question sentence and another sentence into one sentence.
For example,
지금 밖에 비가 와요? 몰라요. (Is it raining outside? I don’t know.)
지금 밖에 비가 오는지 몰라요. (I don’t know if it is raining outside now.)
A question sentence often has a question word like 언제when, 어디where, 몇how many, 얼마how much, 누구who, 어떻게how, 뭐what, 무슨what kind of, 얼마나how long.
For example,
지금 몇 시예요? 알아요? (What time is it? Do you know?)
지금 몇 시인지 알아요? (Do you know what time it is?)
The conjugation is
adjective +(으)ㄴ지
verb(present),있다/없다 +는지
verb(past)+았/었/였는지
verb/adjective(future/guess) +(으)ㄹ지
noun+(이)ㄴ지

불고기를 어떻게 만들어요? 가르쳐 주세요. => 불고기를 어떻게 만드는지 가르쳐 주세요.
밖에 누가 왔어요? 한번 보세요. => 밖에 누가 왔는지 한번 보세요.
집에 몇 시에 올 거예요? 알려 주세요. => 집에 몇 시에 올지 알려 주세요.
가격이 얼마일까요? 알려 주세요. => 가격이 얼마인지 알려 주세요.
Usually, a question word+(이)ㄴ지 can be shortened like below.
어디인지 => 어딘지
누구인지=> 누구인지
뭐인지 => 뭔지
언제인지=> 언젠지
얼마인지=> 얼만지
왜인지 => 왠지

Hi, I want to ask about the conjugation of future tense verb in this grammar, I read in another source that the conjugation is Verb + (으)ㄹ 건지.
Is it the same with (으)ㄹ 지?

It is the same, however you have to consider tenses. (으)ㄹ 건지 is -(으)ㄴ/는/-(으)ㄹ 거+(으)ㄴ지.
For example,
뭐 먹을 건지 알려 주세요. = 뭐 먹을지 알려 주세요.
어디가 아픈지 모르겠어요. = 어디가 아픈 건지 모르겠어요.
언제 갔는지 모르겠어요. = 언제 간 건지 모르겠어요.
어디에서 먹었는지 알아요? = 어디에서 먹은 건지 모르겠어요.
